HUST offers several special programs every year including Short-term Chinese Program (SCP), 3+3 Program and Chinese Internship Program (CIP) every year. SCP targets at non-Chinese beginners who are interested in China and Chinese language. 3+3 Program focuses on those who need oversea (esp. China) internship experience. CIP is suitable for international students who are learning Chinese in their universities and intend to improve their Chinese proficiency in China.

Short-term Chinese Program (SCP)

Short-term Chinese Program(SCP) aims to introduce and display preliminary Chinese culture and general situation to students through lectures, seminars and activities. Thus, they can experience China in many aspects directly and vividly and consequently get an objective and rich impression of glorious Chinese culture and ever-changing Chinese image. 

Since 2010, we have collaborated with universities from France, the UK, America, Australia, New Zealand, Norway, Indonesia, Thailand and Mongolia in terms of SCP. Until now, there are more than 500 international students who have joined SCP.

SCP is extremely suitable for those (above 18 years old) who are interested in China but haven't been to China.

3+3 Program

3+3 Program consists of two parts, 3-month Chinese learning and 3-month enterprise Internship in Chinese companies in HUST Science and Technology Park and Software Park of Optics Valley and other companies in Wuhan. This program is especially suitable for those who are extremely interested in Chinese language and culture and would like to have some internship experience in Chinese companies.

Those who accept 3+3 program not only can master basic Chinese communication and understand wonderful Chinese culture in a short period of time, but also can get a precious experience of internship tounderstand how university research results were put into practice in the Science and Technology Park and those big Chinese high-tech companies were born and grew bigger with non-less innovation.
